Welcome to the Cloud 66 weekly Changelog. Please have a quick look at the latest changes that went out this week!
Docker Containers UI
Rejoice! Docker containers are now given a cluster-wide unique human readable name (don't worry we've kept the service name prefix in place for those relying on them!). We've also updated the containers UI with better indication of when we're adding or removing containers, as well as more intuitive navigation around listing your containers across your cluster or individual servers.
Percona Engine Support
This week we're happy to introduce Percona engine support for MySQL databases. Percona provides better performance, consistency, and scalability.
To find out how to select the Percona Engine for your MySQL stack, please see our MySQL help page. A future phase of our Percona support will be to introduce the faster Percona backups (this release doesn't include those).
Note: The Percona engine can only be selected using your manifest and applies to new stacks created only.
GlusterFS Addin removal support
With this update you can now add AND remove the GlusterFS Addin (as long as its on its own servers - which is recommended). This allows you to remove GlusterFS and add it again with different replication parameters should you wish.
