Welcome to the Cloud 66 Changelog. These are the changes that have gone out this week:
Let's Encrypt Auto-Updated
The good news is that Cloud 66 has automatically renewed any affected certificates on our customer's behalf, and no further action is required!
Asset Compilation on Elected Server
We are pleased to announce that our Rails applications now have support for Asset Pipeline Compilation (APC) on the server of your choice! You can now (optionally) nominate a single server to handle your APC workload during deploys. Compiled assets will then be synced to the other servers being deployed.
This feature is aimed at users with resource-intensive APC processes. It allows them to select a larger server to run their APC so that their application's responsiveness is not affected during deployments. For more information, and how to enable this feature, take a look at the help docs.
Cloud 66 Adds Hetzner Support
We have added native cloud support for Hetzner Cloud! Until now you could only use Hetzner with Cloud 66 via Registered Servers. Take a look at the Cloud 66 help docs for some pointers on getting started!
P.S. Hetzner are currently giving €10 in credit to Cloud 66 users. To claim this, log into the Hetzner Console, go to Usage and click on Redeem Code, and enter the promo code: HICLOUD66 (This promo is valid until March 31 2020, for 3 months after activation. New sign-ups only)

KubeCon Europe - postponed
The health, safety, and wellbeing of attendees and staff are highest priority. KubeCon organisers have made the difficult decision to postpone KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Amsterdam (originally set for March 29 to April 2, 2020) to instead be held in July or August 2020.
