Our help site has a new home! It's still at the same address: help.cloud66.com but we've made major changes to how the documents are organized. Here is an update on those changes and the reasons behind them.

The first change you will notice is how we've organized the documents based on the underlying technology we use to deploy your applications. This means the new site consists of 4 main sections: Rails, Deploy, Sites, and Node.

  • help.cloud66.com/rails is the new home for all documents about deploying Rails with Cloud 66 to VMs. Here you can find Rails specific documents and examples.
  • help.cloud66.com/deploy hosts the help pages related to our containerized deployment technology, based on Kubernetes. Here you can find the documents for both v1 (or CSv1 as it was known previously), our deprecated containerized product, and v2, our current Kubernetes-based deployment product.
  • help.cloud66.com/sites is the place to find all documents for our static site deployment product. If you have a static site generator like Gatsby, Next.js SSG, Hugo, or Jekyll, this is the place to find the relevant information.
  • help.cloud66.com/node is where we keep our now deprecated Node.js deployment product. All new Node.js apps can now be deployed with Cloud 66 Deploy, but we are keeping this site for those customers who are still running the old Node product.

Behind the scenes, we are busy preparing a lot of new stuff and this change is the first step in bringing those new products and improvements to you soon!

Also, we have redesigned and relaunched our API documentation at developers.cloud66.com — this is where you will find the documentation for our APIs.

We hope you find these newly designed sites useful. As always, our email address is hello@cloud66.com
