This is not a new feature in Cloud 66but during the past couple of months we’ve seen security updates and patches being released for Rails or PostgreSQL, so it is a good time to remind you about this feature which helps in times like this.
By default, all apps deployed with Cloud 66 get automatic security patch warnings when there is a security update available that is relevant to their deployment.
You will see this as an alert on your stack and can make a decision about deploying the security patch when it is most convenient for you.
Obviously, we encourage all our customers to act as soon as possible in upgrading and applying the patches, but we don’t force our schedule upon you.
